First Appointment with the Doctor:

When you visit our clinic with concerns about a painless breast lump or any breast changes, rest assured that you are in expert hands. Our triple assessment approach aims to confirm whether the lump is cancerous or non-cancerous, providing you with reassurance and clarity.

Triple Assessment Process:

  1. Assessment by Dr. Rajinder Kaur Saggu: Our female Breast Specialist doctor will evaluate your risk factors through a detailed history and physical examination.
  2. Breast Imaging: Ultrasound and/or Mammogram will be conducted by a specialized breast imaging doctor.
  3. Further Evaluation: If abnormalities are detected, additional tests like needle aspiration or core biopsy may be recommended.

Additional Tests and Support:

If further tests are needed, we offer Image-Guided Needle Biopsy, MRI, genetic testing, counseling, and more. You are welcome to bring a partner or loved one for support during your appointment.

A biopsy is crucial for determining if cells are cancerous. Types of biopsies include Fine Needle Aspiration, Core Needle Biopsy, Excisional Biopsy, Incisional Biopsy, and Vacuum Assisted Breast Biopsy.
